Hi, I’m Annie. I’m an independent graphic designer, typographer, and aspiring type designer based in Southern California.

I’ve spent over 10 years designing in-house, working across brand, interactive, and product teams as an IC, building up brands and designing websites. I have worked on talented design teams at Mixpanel, Compass, Saatchi & Saatchi, Everlane, and Eventbrite—all of which has inspired me to dive further into type in different ways.

In 2024, I invested in myself by applying to Type West, a year-long type design program through the Letterform Archive. It has been a long-awaited dream, and am now part of the graduating class of 2024, and a TA for the 2025 cohort. The program helped me see typography and my design practice in a fresh, detailed, and inspiring way—with more focus and clarity.

I have since gone independent and started freelancing, working on a mix of logotypes, branding, and graphic design work, while starting work on my own type design projects. With that, I welcome new opportunities, big and small, for work, collaborations, and friendship!
